Later the Latin djs DJ Julian Mr M, DJ Fadi & DJ Canet will take over the sound controls and get your feet moving to the beats through to the early hours of the morning. Until 10pm on each Salsa Contigo night the bar offers ‘Mojito time’ cocktails, which are a true celebration of Cuba’s favourite drink! Classic and contemporary Mojitos created by bar manager Richard Woods and his team are available to taste from just £4.50. Entry to Salsa Contigo is £8 from 7:30pm, Ladies free until 10pm. Salsa Contigo started its now legendary monthly freestyle salsa competition on the 31st March, 2009 and it has now become of real interest to the Latin and Salsa aficionados! The night is a celebration of Latin dance and particularly Salsa which culminates in a Salsa dance show and freestyle competition. The prize pool is up to £500 which is split between the top 3 couples. Competition is fierce and the event is often oversubscribed so registering an interest below is advisable, however entrance to the competition is only confirmed on the day so we would recommend that you arrive early to ensure your place...

Salsa Contigo is a monthly celebration of all expressions of Latin music, dance and of course Salsa. Each night is centred around a live dance performance from award wining professional dancers who, each month, showcase a different style of Latin dance… whether it be Merengue, Lambada, Samba, Salsa or another, you will not fail to be impressed by their moves. The soundtrack to the night is provided by Floridita’s legendary selection of live Cuban bands along with an array of leading Latin DJs who will get you moving as the night draws into the morning. Whether you join us for dinner to enjoy Floridita’s steak and Latin inspired menu, or just for drinks at the bar where you can experience Mojito time (where you can sample authentic and contemporary Mojitos from just £4.50), or even if you just come to dance then we are sure you will have an exceptional night.
